Rumours that French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy are both having affairs are gaining momentum in France.
The suggestion that the couple were both committing adultery first emerged onTwitter, the microblogging website. It was followed by a report in the Sunday newspaper le Journal du Dimanche.
Model is offered €285,000 to tell tales on Terry

THE French lingerie model at the centre of claims surrounding the England football captain John Terry’s alleged affair has been offered £250,000 (€285,000) to tell her side of the story, publicist Max Clifford said last night.
Vanessa Perroncel, the ex-partner of Terry’s England and former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge, is now at the heart of a media bidding frenzy.
Mr Clifford said he was in discussions with at least six media outlets, all of which were bidding for her story.
He said: “The £250,000 offer is just the latest bid.”

Iris Robinson also admitted she encouraged friends to provide financial backing to assist the man in a business venture.

NIGHTCLUB hostess Rachel Uchitel yesterday vehemently denied any romantic link with the world’s top golfer, Tiger Woods.
Ms Uchitel, pictured yesterday leaving her home in New York, spoke out as Woods said he was “human and not perfect” following his bizarre late-night car crash in which he hit a fire hydrant and a tree. According to one report by website TMZ, the player told a friend his wife, Elin Nordegren, had “gone ghetto” on him, scratching his face hours before the accident. The website said she confronted him over the allegations.
